Reno is well known for hosting a variety of festive ways to ring in the new year. No matter how you start your evening, be sure to find yourself downtown under the arch at midnight to watch the fireworks with the other revelers.

1. Enjoy a Pre-Fixe menu with Champagne at Wild River Grille

The culinary team at Wild River Grille is working hard to give you a memorable last day of 2022, so make sure to plan for an amazing night. Nestled on the banks of the beautiful Truckee River in downtown Reno, Wild River Grille is close to the action. Reservations start at 4 p.m. and run through Midnight.

2. Savor a 3 course dinner and wine pairing at Washoe Public House

Looking for a romantic dinner in downtown for New Year’s Eve? Washoe Public House is a locally owned restaurant serving up fresh ingredients tailored to the evening.  They’re featuring a 3 course meal with a wine pairing option. After diner make your way downtown to enjoy the celebration.

3. Dine feet from the arch at Cafe Whitney

Revelers rejoice! You can dine on a festive meal from Cafe Whitney which is situated just feet from the Reno Arch. The culinary team at The Whitney Peak Hotel’s signature restaurant is planning to wow you. Step outside after dinner and catch all the action right downtown.

4. See the fireworks early after hitting the slopes at Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe

Enjoy the LAST Day of 2022 on the slopes at Mt. Rose followed by Fireworks at dusk at the Main Lodge. Their cozy ski bar Timbers will be serving up drinks while music plays and skiers and snowboarders ring in the new year early. Be sure to plan accordingly, the drive down Mt. Rose Highway is beautifully winding with stunning views.

5. Bust a move at the Back To 80’s Prom hosted by The Depot

The party will take place in at The Depot’s RickRoom warehouse space where two bars will be ready to serve you all you can drink and food will be set up around the warehouse so you will never get hungry. The DJ will be bumping music all night long with a photo booth! Don’t miss the chance to sing karaoke or win the costume contest.

6. Attend a soulful evening of Live Music at Pignic Pub and Patio

This New Year’s Eve Pignic presents: Pat Hansen of Charity Kiss for a special evening of soulful crooning and good times on New Year’s Eve! The event kicks off at 6:30 pm. They’ll be serving a Special Surf and Turf Dinner so head in early to get a table.
Pat will be followed by the DJ ETHIK on the ones and twos at 9pm for a Solid Gold New Year Celebration.
Food is served until 10pm and both bars will be open to keep the beer flowing like wine!
