It’s been a whirlwind of a month! 

Our first month of Reno Food Tours has been nothing short of spectacular. Seriously. We’ve met so many interesting people, walked the streets of two of Reno’s raddest neighborhoods and have uncovered another layer of history each time.

So what’s we’re really trying to say is thank you. Thank you for your support. Thank you for loving food as much as we do. Thank you for joining the Reno Food Tours party.

As the weather cools, the autumn leaves turn and with us still reeling in the glow of our launch – we’d like to suggest 8 things to do in Reno this fall. Enjoy the Biggest Little City for all of the big and little it has to offer.

What: Tilting the Basin
Where: Nevada Museum of Art
Why: This contemporary exhibition features the work of 34 Nevada artists and speaks of the power art has in enriching Nevada’s cultural landscape. Show ends October 23rd.

What: The Atomic Burger
Where: Midtown Eats
Why: Okay, so, everything here is delicious. Their cocktails are of the craft variety, and the menu changes seasonally. But let’s just say you have to have this burger.

What: Virginia Street Antique Mall
Where: 1251 S. Virginia St.
Why: A heavenly haven for days gone by, not just for the antiquers at heart. Bring your young ones and your loved ones for a peek into the past.

What: Centro Bar & Restaurant
Where: 236 California Ave.
Why: Small plates, big flavor and a daily taco special that every patron should be required to order. Nestled on charming California Avenue, this up and coming spot is the perfect way to spend a Saturday night.

What: Natural Selection
Where: 39 St. Lawrence Ave.
Why: Best described as a curiosity shop, Natural Selection features succulents and taxidermy and antiques and more. It’s pretty much Reno’s very own Natural History Museum.

What: Broga
Where: MidTown Community Yoga
Why: Every Wednesday night, a magical yoga class called “Broga” is held in honor of all of our brethren looking for a way to ease their way into the realm of Vinyasa. Each class ends with a cold beer.

What: Beto’s Taqueria
Where: 575 W. 5th St.
