From pastries to pizza – 6 places for downright delicious gluten-free food in Reno!

Just because you’re gluten-free doesn’t mean you need to sacrifice deliciousness. It may be a choice, it may be for medical reasons, but for some, there’s no getting gluten in your gut. Thankfully, Reno has tons of options, so gluten-free foodies don’t have to stress about eating out. Cupcakes, pasta, sandwiches, nothing is off limits! Check out some of our favorite gluten-free options for eating out in Reno, Nevada.

1.Lili’s

Lili’s island-inspired menu is full of tasty gluten-free options. While any of the burgers and sandwiches can be made gluten-free, we think breakfast is the time to be there. Think sweet Belgian waffles, fluffy pancakes, and scrumptious french toast. All gluten-free! They have separate stations for preparing gluten-free food, so you don’t have to worry about cross-contamination. The staff is happy to answer any questions and come up with a gluten-free meal to fit your fancy.

2.Haven on Earth

Do you have those friends that scoff and moan when you suggest heading to a gluten-free bakery? Cast their doubt aside at Haven on Earth. This dedicated gluten-free bakery and deli is the perfect place to indulge your sweet tooth or sit down for a tasty lunch. 3. Great Full Gardens

Reno locals can’t get enough of Great Full Gardens; it’s why there are three locations scattered about town. Whether you’re in Midtown, South Reno or North Reno you can find some stellar gluten-free options at Great Full Gardens. Gluten-free options are conveniently labeled, so it’s easy to see which items are safe to order. It’s hard to go wrong with one of their “Great Full Bowls,” chalk full of fresh and tasty veggies, grains and dressed to perfection.

4.La Cucina

It’s time to talk about pasta. When you get hit with a craving for a bowl of bowties, angel hair or fettuccine slathered in sauce, it’s hard to think about anything else. Pasta is an ultimate comfort food, and La Cucina makes it easy to enjoy old world Italian cuisine sans gluten. Cream sauces, tomato sauces, or Primavera, La Cucina, has it all!

5.The De Luxe

With the exception of one item (the banh mi) everything on the menu is gluten free, oh wait… the banh mi can be made gluten-free, so actually everything on the menu is gluten-free. Located inside the West Street Market, The De Luxe serves creative concoctions, made from scratch, plant-based organic and, of course, gluten-free. Their namesake fries are not to be missed, and anything in a taco is awesome, but you won’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

No gluten free guide is complete without telling you where to get pizza! When it comes to dietary restrictions, it doesn’t get better than Noble Pie Parlor. They have a fantastic gluten-free thin-crust option, and they also have vegan cheeses available, so any pizza can be made gluten-free and vegan. The signature Brooklyn red sauce is everything you want from a classic pizza sauce, but they also have other fun options like vegan pesto, rippin’ ranch, backyard BBQ and Bianco garlic.
