Fewer activities are as strenuous as a day on the mountain, especially if the conditions are as dreamy as they have been. So first you need food! Hit up Truckee Bagel Company for the freshest bagels this side of the Sierras.

The City of Reno Ice Rink is in the front of Greater Nevada Field at Ace’s Ballpark. Gather some friends, rent some skates and live out your Michelle Kwan/Brian Boitano dreams among the charming lights of downtown Reno.

For the perfect evening, we recommend catching a show at the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts. This season they have an impressive lineup from Motown the Musical to Dirty Dancing! Promise you won’t regret it.
Meet City Green Gardens!
Founded in 2010 by husband and wife team, Craig and Gail Frezzette, City Green Gardens is the only USDA Certified Organic producer in Reno. They produce quality greens year round and are passionate about the local food movement. You can purchase their harvests locally at Scolari’s Caughlin Ranch location as well as Butcher Boy.
City Green Gardens plants enjoy classical and jazz music courtesy of radio station KNCJ 89.5 in cozy structures called Hoop Houses that keep them safe from the elements year round! Their cultured produce can also be found at some super cool restaurants who love eating local (which we love): 4th Street Bistro, Old Granite Street, Beaujolais Bistro, La Strada, Bistro Roxy, Sterlings Steakhouse and Great Full Gardens.
