reno food and drink week 2022

Reno Food & Drink Week is coming back for its third year, June 1 – 8. So get ready for a whole week dedicated to celebrating and showcasing the exceptional talent in Reno’s food and drink scene. Sparks is also joining the party this year with the inaugural Sparks Food & Drink Week taking place the week after Reno Food & Drink Week, from June 8-15.

Cherre Boteler started Food & Drink week under her brand Hungry in Reno. Now in its third year, Reno Food & Drink week has excited restaurant-goers and visitors, giving them a chance to see local establishments stepping out of the box and experimenting with new techniques and ingredients. Throughout the week, participating restaurants create unique off-menu items. In addition, many restaurants donate a portion of the proceeds from sales of their featured dishes to local charities.

Reno Food Tours favorites, Mari Chuy’s and Wild River Grille, have joined this year’s line-up alongside over 50 other bars and restaurants. Chuy’s will be featuring a grilled halibut with chipotle cream and Spanish risotto. Wild River Grille will be offering a three-course dinner that includes a cucumber watermelon salad, classic bruschetta, and pan-seared halibut.

Whatever type of vibe you’re looking for, Reno Food & Drink Week has something to offer. Try an upscale meal at Grafted Whiskey and Wine Bar, their special is a seared swordfish and whiskey flight. At Fourk Kitchen, they offer a 4-course special menu that includes a choice of cheese plate or burrata, followed by a Panzanella salad, caramelized onion, and flank steak crostini with blue cheese compound butter, chicken katsu curry and finishing with a S’mores brown.

If you don’t feel like indulging in a coursed meal, plenty of casual options are available. Royce is offering a Pimento cheese dip

appetizer or pimento cheeseburger. Wow Wow Lemonade has created two unique smoothie bowls in honor of the occasion, Lemon Coconut Mint, and Passion Colada.

Check out the complete list of restaurants here. Some restaurants require reservations, so check ahead of time and let them know you’re coming for their food week special.
